Louis is correct 9A-10P Saturday and 9-9 Sunday. Reservations are always helpful at Landmark.
Among the finest establishments in Illinois. The quality and consistency of their food/service is unmatched. Spinach Bisque, Belgian Waffles, Crepes and so much more! I’ve tried everything on the menu and you really can’t go wrong. For dinner I recommend the Blackened Salmon or the Crab Cakes. So divine! Thank you to the amazing staff that greets me with a smile whenever I come! Galesburg is incredibly blessed to have Landmark.
Had a wonderful time! Our server was great & the food is awesome.
What a charming place! Delicious food and so many good menu options, including daily specials, in a charming old building. Definitely recommend!
Always worth the drive from the QC! Love the Ritz, grilled of course. Tried the Garden crepe today and enjoyed the fresh flavors. VERY appreciative of all the precautions to keep us safe and comfortable on the outdoor patio. A lot of restaurants are getting sloppy with their precautions and cleaning already. Thank you for the delicious lunch and the confidence you gave us that you are doing it right! We will be back!
Great breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Good coffee. Never had a bad experience here.
Beautiful Sunday morning. Great food. Terrific waitress but the old curmudgeon at the front door could not have been more rude. How about a lesson or two in hospitality? Huge turnoff. Won't be going back no matter how good the food is....
Great food and good coffee, but a bit pricey for college students. Obviously, bring parents with😉
Good food, good atmosphere. A tad pricey but it's worth it.
Like most restaurants, time if day affects service but the wait staff is generally on the spot. The dishes are delicious and creative, yet not overcomplicated so it is extremely rare that anything is cooked incorrectly. It is affordable as well if you are mindful of how you order, the larger portions of the pasta dishes will get you another meal to take home. However if you are like me and want to get breakfast to take home and a bag of coffee it can get pricey. I would recommend the spinach bisque, it is a Galesburg classic.I have to add that they do have a menu item called an "open faced waffle sandwich", isn't that really just a waffle? 😆
Small cafe locally known for their cream of spinach "bisque" soup, daily quiches, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine, flavored coffees. A bit pricey for the quality, execution and presentation of food we ordered especially the grilled cheese!
First visit here and it was amazing! We will return, didn't even have dessert but the food and service was great and we we seated rather quickly. You must grab coffee beans to go on your way out! They will even grind for you!
I just had lunch with my family at Landmark. It is one of our favorite places. The food, the service, even their handling of the pandemic situation...only one good word to describe it. Classy. We had the ahi tuna, seafood pot pie, crab cake sliders, a few crepes and bananas foster for dessert. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. This is one of the best restaurants in Galesburg and the surrounding areas.
Love, love, love the food here! A must stop when visiting Galesburg!
Occasionally make the trip down from the quad-cities, but I know my parents go almost weekly from the Quad Cities. Always great food and a very intuitive staff. The owner comes out and talks to the tables occasionally which gives a nice feel. Love watching the chefs making the crepes.
The Landmark Cafe & Creperie is a destination for everyone to experience. The praline milkshake was my drink of choice while my friend ordered coffee. Both were great choices. My dinner crepe was the beef burgundy. Big, deep bold flavors. It is much bigger than it looks. My friend had the BBQ chicken crepe. All I can say is that he devoured it. He did allow me to try some the pickled onions that were served on top of it. Excuse me, but could I order a pint of these to go! Bright, bold pickling flavors and they still had a crunch. Did we need it, absolutely not. Did we go ahead and order it. You bet! The turtle dessert crepe is heaven on a plate. We would also like to give a shout out to our fantastic server Bailey F. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Give Landmark Cafe and Creperie a try. You won't be disappointed.
This is one of Central Illinois best dining experiences. Located on historic Seminary Street with its iconic clock tower out front, Landmark offers an eclectic menu to serve a variety of tastes. The chefs capture the nuances of each dish to the delight of the diner. The atmosphere is somewhat upscale without being pretentious. Landmark offers beer and wine selections to accompany the meal.. Outdoor seating is available.
Old style restaurant, very comfortable atmosphere. Decent food at a little pricey bill, but Ill be back for more!
Excellent crepes, friendly and helpful staff. Quaint atmosphere.
The food was so good, and the staff was very friendly and dedicated to making a good, memorable experience. The crepes were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing!
One of my favorite places to dine. Love the atmosphere and the menu! Seminary street area is a fun place to shop with friends or by yourself. The dessert crepes are amazing!
Love this place. Always delicious meals and desserts. Always friendly wait staff. And... they serve Good espresso!
Great place to stop for a meal. They have AMAZING dishes and desserts here for everyone. In my experiences, wait staff has always been kind and quick. If you're in Galesburg to eat some well priced restaurant food, this is the one for you!
Cinnamon coffee, amazing wait staff and numerous Vegan and Vegetarian options.
Great food and atmosphere (I had the smoked salmon salad, my family ate turkey melts). Our waitress, Angela, provided us with fast and friendly service. Highly recommend!
A cute Cafe in a little town. Took a chance on it and are we ever glad we did. The food was amazing so if you are ever passing through Illinois go here to eat. The crepes are to die for and the roast beef dinner was just like homemade.
Always good food. Some menu choices are a bit eclectic for my taste, but always plenty to choose from. Never had anything bad here in 30-ish years.
I love the Landmark!!! The Ritz is a really good sandwich! The club crepe and the chicken ole crepe are super tasty, and the turtle desert crepe is fantastic!
Great place and they have a menu that accommodates a Gluten Free diet due to medical issues. All the food is made fresh, service is friendly and prices are reasonable.
Food is great and staff is very friendly. Great cup of coffee. 😊
Truly amazing meal! Service is pleasant and expeditious, would recommend to anyone any time! Totally worth a trip, even if you are not in the immediate area. Don't miss a chance to enjoy a meal here at Landmark Cafe.Seafood pot pie would rival any coastal restaurant, promise!
The Landmark never fails to impress. It's my favorite restaurant in Galesburg, well worth the hour trip to visit!
Food was great. Service was wonderful. Atmosphere was nice as well, very cleans.
Delicious fresh food and great service. Had something for everyone and good prices.
Excellent place to have a very reasonably priced lovely meal!! Great friendly service and yummy food choices in a quaint downtown location.
Went here twice while on business in town. A great spot to enjoy quality food and a good atmosphere. The staff was kind and the service was excellent. Can’t wait to eat here again!
Great place to eat. Atmosphere is wonderful and their specials are top notch. Spinach bisque is the best I have ever had.
The manor in which they are handling the virus is obnoxiously rude. To stop a family at the door and yell at them for not having masks at a place to eat. Considering you can’t wear a mask to eat, it is obnoxious to require a mask just to walk to the table. This is after masks are no longer required inside. Don’t waste your time coming here, the way they treat their guests is unacceptable and disgusting.
Great atmosphere and great food.
I think it has to be the best restaurant in Galesburg! The sandwiches are great, the panini of the day fun and delicious, excellent coffee, and the best ahi tuna I've ever had.Plus it's unique and has character. It's the perfect downtown restaurant for an after-church afternoon meal.
The Landmark has always been one of my favorites places to eat! The courtyard is such an intimate and quaint area to sit in that it's typically packed. The standards that they have used for Covid has changed the dining room layout. Overall it was a beautiful experience, per usual!
We had dinner on the patio Fathers Day weekend. The staff was great. Lots of thought was put into keeping us safe amid Covid 19. Bags provided for our masks, hand sanitizer on tables, distance between tables, and they even brought us individual side carafs of drinks as to not touch our glasses for refills. Our food was outstanding. Such a treat to go out to dine.
The pot pie was delicious and I absolutely loved the spinach bisque. A friend and I came with her small baby and the staff was very accommodating even though he didn't cause any trouble. Not a peep!
A sweet little restaurant with really tasty food. I had the crispy polenta with wild mushrooms and it was exactly what I needed on this chilly day. Very friendly and prompt service, also!
Don't judge a book by its cover. You look at the front of the building and it's rather unimpressive. Just go in anyway. If it's nice out, ask to be seated on the patio - it's beautiful out there. They're known for their crepes, but don't overlook the waffles. We enjoyed the Bananas Foster waffle in particular. That rum sauce was amazing! Our server was very nice and talked us into the waffle over the crepe option. So, she's a keeper. And they had flavored decaf coffee to compliment things. We ate dinner elsewhere, since we were only in town for a few hours, but reading their menu made me regret that decision. Should we find ourselves in Galesburg again, this will definitely be on the itinerary.
A quaint and charming place in downtown galesburg. Friendly staff that's always do an amazing job. Great menu for all kinds of appetites (including vegan options)! Love this hometown gem.
Waitress was great and made very good suggestions for dinner.Food was Awesome! We both said we would drive from Peoria again in a heartbeat
Excellent food. The portabella sandwich was amazing. The service is always friendly, efficient and very professional. If you've never tried the Landmark, you're in for a treat.
Had the best steak of my life there!!
The food was delicious. The restaurant is quaint and the menu is extensive for a somewhat small restaurant. I would like to return on a weekend and experience their brunch menu. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The roasted garlic appetizer was really good. But honestly I have had better food at cheaper places. My vegetable crepe just had no taste.
